WHAT: Portions of Glenwood Avenue SE and Moreland Avenue SE will experience temporary evening lane closures to accommodate street resurfacing.

WHERE:

Moreland Avenue SE between Portland Avenue SE and Metropolitan Avenue SE (northbound and southbound lanes).

Glenwood Avenue SE between Moreland Avenue SE and Brownwood Avenue SE. (eastbound and westbound lanes).

Glenwood Avenue SE between Florida Avenue SE and Moreland Avenue SE. (eastbound and westbound lanes).

WHEN: The temporary lane closures will begin the week of August 29, 2022, and remain in effect
until resurfacing is compete. The work will take place in the evening to minimize traffic
impacts.

DETAILS: The street resurfacing is one of the final components of the Glenwood-Moreland Intersection
Improvement Project. The project created a permanent traffic shift to realign the intersection
and eliminate the existing 70-foot offset.
Law enforcement officers will be onsite to assist with traffic control. Traffic will be restored to
normal operations once work is completed.
