The City of Atlanta is reviewing three new methods of calculating solid waste fees. Solid waste fees cover the cost of garbage & recycling collection and disposal, and a range of ‘special services’ provided by the Department of Public Works.
One of the three calculation methods will be selected by City Council, in June, before the 2022/2023 solid waste bills are sent out in July.
