The resurfacing and roadway reconfiguration project will include:
- Resurfacing of Cherokee Avenue SE from Memorial Drive SE to Mead Street SE
- Bike lane installation from Woodward Avenue SE to Atlanta Ave SE
- Removal of on-street parking on Cherokee Avenue SE along Grant Park; on-street parking will be preserved along the residential side (west side) of Cherokee Avenue between Atlanta Avenue SE and Sydney Street SE
- Removal of on-street parking on the west side of Cherokee Avenue SE between the I-20 bridge and Woodward Avenue SE; on-street parking will be preserved along the east side of Cherokee Avenue SE between I-20 and Woodward Avenue
