Trees Atlanta 2019 Canopy Conference

8c6a3f9b-0b04-404b-94a2-613dd034a709Have you heard the term ‘Food Forest’? A food forest is defined as an edible ecosystem designed and managed to provide food, medicine, fuel, and habitat for all of its community members.

Is it possible that Atlanta, the ” City in the Forest” is actually a food forest in itself?

What does it mean if it is?

There are as many questions about food forests as there are answers, but it’s clear that there is a momentum to create abundant ecosystems within our cities. This year, Trees Atlanta will be diving into the world of sustainable foods and Food Forests with keynote speakers Janisse Ray and Dave Jacke at the 2019 Canopy Conference.
