Overview of legislation passed by Atlanta City Council on March 21, 2022

Among other items passed today, the Atlanta City Council adopted legislation during Monday’s meeting to urge the Atlanta Police Department to enforce City Code Section 150-88 (a), which allows for the removal of vehicles or requires the driver or other person in charge of a vehicle to remove a vehicle parked in a bike lane. Fire stations 10 and 13 in NPU-W; February to March activity

  • For the period between February 16 and March 16, 2022
  1. Paramedic Engine 13 in East Atlanta Village responded to 156 Calls for service. 
  2. Engine 10 in Grant Park responded to 206 Calls for service. 
  3. Truck 10 also in Grant Park responded to 181 Calls for service. 
  4. 543 Total Calls for Service. 

City-wide, between March 6 and March 12, 2022, Atlanta Fire Rescue responded to 2,232 calls for service.

Two Council Committees holding a joint work session on March 22, 2022.

The Atlanta City Council’s Community Development and Human Services Committee and Finance/Executive Committee will hold a joint work session in the Council Chamber at Atlanta City Hall on Tuesday, March 22 at 9 a.m. to review and discuss the City of Atlanta’s Housing Opportunities for People with AIDS (HOPWA) Program.
